You can still DPS during those trash pulls. I have no issues with my healers not being able to pump out some DPS during big pulls.

(edit)Again, not something I would put a pug healer through. I was simply pointing out that it is indeed possible to pull the maximum you can pull in these dungeons since Kokoru asked if that was possible.

I've done this with one excellent df tank who did it without asking but was great with enmity and cd management and it was an awesome run! I said out loud in party chat that it was some awesome WAR play and gave the tank my commendation! And yes, managed to keep DPSing even then.

Makes me think of the run I did last night of Temple of the Fist (I'm really starting to dislike running this place). It took 45 minutes. Swear to god. The tank pulled big and I dpsed when I could but nothing was dying. Our DPS (SAM and DRG) were soooo weak. The second boss was he'll, we almost wiped because I was starting to feel defeated after the third time he uses the Sun/Moon markers...

I was in Shiva HARD MODE that wiped.

I'm just running roulettes trying to get AST to 70. Tank had Shiva pointing the wrong way and she killed me and two other dps with a cleave. White mage didn't raise anyone. I made the mistake thinking that the red mage could res and brought it up in the chat. I don't have red mage unlocked I've been focused on leveling gatherers and crafters after I finished the MSQ on scholar. They start cursing me out in the chat for just not knowing when veraise unlocks when the the tank was spinning the boss to the party and the white mage wasn't raising anyone when their mp was 80% full.

I just left.

So is O3 just a "bring out your dummies" fight? Because two weeks in a row, we get players who I swear are actively using mechanics to kill the raid. During Spellblade: Holy, where you have the stack AoE and the isolation AoEs, we had people who had to be isolated stacking with the rest of the group. After two wipes to this exact mechanic, when we called out the people doing this, we got absolutely no response.

Is it just me? Am I like a magnet and these types of players are the negative to my positive? Is it just karma for playing MCH?

Went into a Susano Ex Farm PT, The AST who would not help me heal just DPS the whole fight....I looked him up....He was wearing all Direct Hit VI Materia. uhm. okay. lol He wasn't pulling that much but when I got stunned by lightning he wouldnt heal me, or tank and tank died. Rip. Ast left pt we didnt have to kick him but still. I have never seen an AST with Direct Hit fully melded in his/her 320 gear....................................................................

One of the worst groups I've ever experienced. Susano HM. DPS can't avoid simple AoEs, DPS aren't even stacking. Healers bleeding their MPs dry trying to heal and raise them. Of course, I do my best to help them out. Use mana shifts. Raise the damn DPS who are better off dead. Seriously, how hard is it to move out a Raisen Kyoko or whatever it was called again.

Finally clear after two wipes.

No comms.

...Maybe a little salty. More salty about the bad group.

Because, again, DPS who wanted an insta-spot. They're the type of player who pushes for MORE DAMAGE MORE DAMAGE MORE DAMAGE from everyone. They're, in all honesty, a blight on the entire community. God forbid those types of players actually try to do their jobs.
