A no-food macro and a Stone Soup macro for minimally melded level 70 crafters

You might want to upgrade your rotation with the following :

I use this rotation
- 1226 craftsmanship (slightly above what is needed)
- 1156 (way higher than what's needed)
- 445 CP. Only 23 steps. (instead of 26)

(From the sim, the minimum stat to make it work seem to be 1190 / 1066 - but I can't test it with my current gear)

All hq 290 gear will give 1211/1114/382.
Can buy & use e.g. a nq Miso Soup with Tofu for 2,162 gil
New stats with food: 1315/1153/382

No melding needed, though a few craftsmanship/control melds would mean you could do this without food.

Can take out the comfort zone if you don't need it. Reduce it by another step again then ^^

This isn't a fast macro though. 15 steps is the fastest I've got but that requires some serious melds & specialist too.

Nice rotation there. Low CP requirement and very fast! I didn't realize even IQ7 can HQ those items with 1153 control using Miso Soup.

I had been trying to avoid those 2K gil food though... cos a stack of them would cost 200K+. And with the amt I craft, I do go through a stack pretty quickly.
I am, however, loaded with Tier I, II, III and IV materia, so melding those on my i290 white gear was fine for me. So that sets me up with my 37 gil Stone Soup stack.

Anyway, money is starting to pour in lately (mostly just from selling retainer-gathered items). I shall have much better melded accessories soon. I won't even need food when my base CP is above 448. That would be nice, cos then I won't have to ever think about when the food expires, resulting in botching. I can feed my baby while mindlessly press that button for hours. LOL!

You could do it without food easy. If i'm correct your stats are 1265/1126/425?

If so you can just remove the comfort zone (for speed) & add an additional innovation between the GS & SH2 as shown below.

Your rotation here look REALLY GOOD. Low stats requirement and super fast! Indeed, there's no need to go as high as IQ9 to 11 if you have an extra GS and with extra Innov buffs. I am going to test this out in game, and will let you know how I like it.

Just to get back on this... Tested this in game, and it's really as good as it looked. 425 CP no food needed, low IQ stack yet just enough power to HQ the items with the least steps. It's indeed a very sharp rotation! TYVM!

Glad you like it. Just in case, it only requires 408cp or 394cp if using comfort zone.

Now that a lot of people are aiming for 2* stats. Can hq even with 329cp(add comfort zone)
