Oh, that. That is simple. When you click on that, it only shows the items you have received up to the current date. Since they haven't distributed the Mount yet, then obviously it won't show up. So as your OP says, yes, you will only know eligibility when they first give it out. >_>;

That's... sort of stupid. To confirm eligibility when... you already got it.

But as far as I recall, it showed the preorder items when they were applied through codes.

If that was the case with those, then I have no other clue. My guess is maybe check again next month to see if any changes have been made as the campaign has just barely started. shrug

Although as the earliest you can be eligible of the campaign is early august (assuming you sign up for a recurring sub at the beginning of june), then you'd have to check then. ...Unless you subbed in May and July would be month #3. In which case the eligibility thing isn't working as it should.

How I understood the whole campaign; Even if I have enough days paid I registered Stormblood before July 1st, which is outside the campaign period, so I won't be eligible to the mount. The catch of that is this:

"Meet each of the following conditions during the campaign period to obtain the Falcon mount"

So basically the mount is just to try and increase Stormblood purchases instead of it being some sort of a veteran reward.

Correct me if I'm wrong with this.

Yeah like I said, please don't take those words literally. You are doing exactly that; because as ExKage said, SB launched on June 20th.

Also, retroactively also means during. Because if you have SB registered before that day, it also counts as being registered DURING, too. Would be really shite of SE to LITERALLY mean 'DURING'.

The campaign site says that they check eligibility by the end of august and by the end of September, and we won't get the mount until September.

As long as you have a recurring subscription, or enough days of subscription you will get it. No worries.
