Flying Falcon Campaign - Confirming Eligibility

How I understood the whole campaign; Even if I have enough days paid I registered Stormblood before July 1st, which is outside the campaign period, so I won't be eligible to the mount. The catch of that is this:

"Meet each of the following conditions during the campaign period to obtain the Falcon mount"

So basically the mount is just to try and increase Stormblood purchases instead of it being some sort of a veteran reward.

Correct me if I'm wrong with this.

To me it reads more like a methd to keep players who are getting SB around launch to have a little incentive to buy a bigger sub card despite beating the MSQ.

Basically, it's a reward for sub retention for early Stormblood players.


Honestly, if they could just say "Have a copy of Stormblood registered to your account during the campaign," instead of "Purchase and register Stormblood during the campaing," there would be no confusion or worry.

I have more than 1200 days of Game Time. I think it's very safe to say that I'm more than qualify for that 90 days stipulation. But aside from that, I'm pretty sure you just need to be sub to the game within the time frame to be eligible for the reward. The campaign lasts literally 92 days. Idk why people are very concerned about the eligibility when it's pretty straightforward.

Say you bought a 30 day sub on July 5. You then decide to take a break. Around August 30, you decide to buy a 60 day sub. You've technically sub for the game for 90 days within the time frame, you are eligible for rewards.

if you have a recurring sub you're going to get it no matter what. It just depends on when your resub window falls. i won't be getting mine until the october delivery date.

I have a legitimate concern that people who earned the 15 days of free time by leveling a character on Omega server, might actually have their sub fee date for a 3rd monthly payment, pushed past the campaign period. It does specifically state that game time must be added during the campaign, and anyone with a monthly or 90 day sub that would naturally fall during the last 15 days of the campaign window, might completely lose out on it. Very important that SE gets the eligibility visible for the customers sooner rather than later. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of complaints that an SE promotion screwed me over on a different SE promotion.

Of course the obvious solution would be to give in to paranoia and throw extra sub fees at SE early, but we don't know when they'll start the next Subscription Campaign, and you might just be screwing yourself on the next one.

So... I bought Stormblood on 30th June and bought additional 90 days ( 3 x 30) of sub. I did open a ticket to customer services regarding this issue and i want Falcon mount so bad. Hope all Stormblood buyers will get the mount!

Did you have any existing gametime remaining before you added the 90 days? If not I'm afraid you're going to be a day short. From 1st July it counted any gametime you had left, which in your case was 89 days (because it already used a day for 30th June).

30th june was still using free 30 day sub so my first 30 day sub was on 6th July and the other 60 days was on 2 days ago. But like i said, bought stormblood on 30th June
