Can we get some mini-event weekends?

This is kinda different from normal events though. It's not like a seasonal event where not logging in ensures you miss something exclusive. All this is is extra incentive for people to play on random non-seasonal event weekends. It's really not all that unfair for someone to miss a double drop or double xp weekend, and that more people would feel obliged to login is kinda the point. I work every other weekend, and would miss a lot of this, and yet here I am suggesting it anyway. All it is, is a little incentive for extra community involvement in different activities, and no one is going to be hurt if they can't make one.

Im not against it in any way, I agree with having some more interesting non seasonal events. Im just saying its gonna cause issues with the people who think its unfair. I log in almost everyday so I think its a great idea!

My whole point is Yoshi would rather not give us things like this just so people can call out and cry about them, its pretty much the reason we lack long term substance content as well.
