Can we get some mini-event weekends?

Just make it a week long then.
On a side note, they already have plenty of stuff that makes you feel you "have" to log on. Weekly tomestone cap, weekly loot from 8 man raid, weekly loot from 24 man raid, gathering and crafting tomestones, wondrous tails,... I could go on for a while, but you get the point

This is kinda different from normal events though. It's not like a seasonal event where not logging in ensures you miss something exclusive. All this is is extra incentive for people to play on random non-seasonal event weekends. It's really not all that unfair for someone to miss a double drop or double xp weekend, and that more people would feel obliged to login is kinda the point. I work every other weekend, and would miss a lot of this, and yet here I am suggesting it anyway. All it is, is a little incentive for extra community involvement in different activities, and no one is going to be hurt if they can't make one.
