I don't know, when I'm offered an opportunity I'm planning to take, I usually get it sorted right away instead of thinking "well it will probably be there later even if they didn't indicate so in any way"... How hard or time consuming is it to use your phone to log in to mog station and get it over with? You had a thing you were supposed to handle, you didn't handle it, now you're in a bad situation which is understandably very frustrating, but it's not anyone else's fault but yours. Good luck though, I do hope you'll get to either transfer or create a new character and join your friends soon.

Don't even need access to the game just need a computer or even just a smart phone and able to do the transfer. Transfer fall into the it a privilege not a right category especially if the transfers were free.

There are other requirements before transferring you know, which you need too be in-game to fix.

It called planning ahead and could of took care of that stuff before going on vacation then allowing them just to do transfer from computer or phone when available.

Thank you Naunet and Vhailor (and others for understanding my situation. i want to add that my character is 1.0 character so its hard to drop it all and make new char. I hope this can be resolved soon...

From SE's "Preventing Congestion on High Population Worlds" announcement a couple months ago:

We also plan to accommodate free companies members that plan to move together with or without a free company estate.

They should have gotten that part of their plan worked out and implemented in time for Omega's launch. If the whole FC were marked as moving to Omega, then maybe the OP's friend could have been able to join them regardless of whether other transfers are blocked or not.
