I will not elaborate as to why I dont want it as I have done this multiple times already in some other threads and it really never ends well.
Pretty sure quite a few people know my stance as they have been following those other said threads before too, so yeah.

No, I do not want this.
That's fine, you don't have to like it. You don't have to cross-dress if you don't want to. But denying everyone who wants it because of your personal feelings is a bit selfish. People already work with what they're given- dyes and designated neutral attire, despite clearly being intended for one or the other- and it hasn't hurt you or anyone else. Maybe SE can compromise and give players like you an option to turn off other people's glamours. It'd see niche use, but if it can satisfy people like you who care about gender roles and aesthetics while letting others have freedom of expression, I'd be okay with it.

Well, thats your point of view. I think its a selfish request to waste development time for this, because THIS is an actual niche that would be used by a minority of the players.
Please dont make it sound like I am the minority with my opinion. Maybe a bunch of forum users will like this, but you bet the vast majority of players wont.

The WHM outfit on men is very similar to the ones women have. What is it you want changed on yours?

    http://www.siliconera.com/wordpress/...016/10/038.jpg

It matches the type of collars they had in olden times (think 17th century)

Not EVERYTHING has to be a carbon copy of each other. Both models are stylish and should be appreciated as they were designed.

It looks like some people just want straight up cross dressing, which is never going to happen, ever. i'm all for more options for male characters, so long as it's there own look, don't really need to be wearing the exact same outfits females wear, there is a reason they are designed differently.

Then why do we have the option to cross dress, male and female alike? Their ruleset is largely inconsistent which is why this entire ordeal is frustrating. I't would have been understandable that female can't wear outfits with bare chests, but everything else is just redundant.

Like what, you mean a select few "dresses"? like how SAM AF is a dress? (Hakama) i really hope you aren't going that route. Some things can look decent on males such as the select few items, and some can make males look a little "girly" but they are few and far in between, not a large epidemic, But as i said, no worries of this happening.

Ask for more male specific outfits to fit them, Nothing wrong with that.

It's more the actual skirts (they added a dyeable glamour miniskirt during HW which looks just as fabulous on men as it does on women) and things like the original AST AF, which was specifically designed in the words of the art team to be a feminine garment with skirts and shawl. In any case, rather than derailing by making this into a war on skirts, can anyone explain why men can equip succubus horns (succubi are, by definition, always female) but not bunny ears (both male and female bunnies exist). Female characters can wear almost anything they like, whereas male characters can wear certain flowers in their hair but not other flowers. For no reason. It's a huge contradictory mess of nonsense at this point.

They don't have to retroactively make all the locked gear work for everyone, that would be way too much work. But at some point going forward I'd be happy if they were more inclusive with the glamour gear. It might be more effort, but being accessible to the other half of the population would offset the loss of quantity. The vast majority of players probably don't give a whit either way, you know. I'd rather be on the side of people who want more options rather than the one who thinks it's a waste of time, even if I personally wouldn't benefit much from it.

There are options that are practically identical between men and woman. It's normal that job specific ones differ a bit to match the body types. Look at the WHM ones, the collar looks like 17th century ones which often had Women with exposed throats and Men with cravates and more fitted outfits. It matches the style.

While some people champion to make everything genderless other people like seeing the difference between races. You can't just say your opinion doesn't matter, we want everything to be the same thing.

Having the option doesn't hurt you in the slightest, though.
