Possible Sam Nerf

Balance adjustments aren't due for another few weeks and not before the Live Letter. They are still collecting battle data based on EX Trials and Omega [Normal], but most players are only running Omega once or twice to get their weekly loot. They probably want to collect 3 weeks worth of data and then compare across, accounting for learning effects, as players should be better geared each week and better skilled (with their job AND mechanics). That's why they don't jump the gun on adjustments because sometimes players theorycraft the meta too early before realizing jobs they thought were OP actually aren't and jobs that they thought needed tuning actually don't as much. Everyone said WHM was dead, but comparing WHM to the other 2 healers and it's actually still very very viable, especially after Earthly Star got nerfed from the Media Tour values, and Lillies were buffed from 20% to 50/100%

It is fake. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but they always categorize jobs in listings. So if it was real it should be showing DoW first before DoM. Red Mage and Summoner are not next to each other like they should be.

Also isn't it just a little too convenient that such drastic changes happen in a short period of time?

Fake. Of all the things to touch on RDM (which is nothing to begin with), Vercure hardly needs to be touched. I've heard nothing about how OP RDM healing is. From experience so far its good for keeping the tank up if the healer dies, and I imagine that'll remain as true when I get Verraise and the Healer needs some breathing room to get back on their feet.

Also, why -buff- Verholy and Verflare? RDM DPS is perfect where it is. Yeah maybe it'd be nice for those finishers to have more OOMPH, but its not needed. If anything those kinds of potency buffs should be handed to BLM and SMN right now.

There are also hilarious NIN buffs in there, as if ninja needed buffs to its already great dps with respect to the party damage utility it brings :O I kinda want to play NIN some.

But seriously, Ninja are in a really good place right now, not sure why they'd buff them. RDM as well. Flamethrower getting a 2x potency increase would be good for MCH, but it wouldn't fix some of the core problems, like how long it takes to get heat back after mechanics cause heat problems.

I would argue that RDM damage is a bit too high. They've got too much in their kit, with their offheals and rez, and the bonkers cooldown that is Embolden.

Changing Living Dead from 300 seconds to 280 seconds and changing nothing else is laughable and cements it as being 100% fake IMO.

I would be surprised it they nevf anything on sam, it would be a really dumb move. If it got any lower than it is it would be in a worse spot than 3.x mnk because sam actually brings no raid utility where at least you couuld make the argument in prog to bring mnk for mantra or the int down if u had pld, dam doesnt have that cushion. if u lower sam dps its gone. Sam players will be kicked and excluded from all content because there would be zero point in bringing one over mnk or any other class for that matter..

This is an over exaggeration of omg that meta that people freak out about. This doesn't actually happen, if you are going for world first then yeah but otherwise no. If you can do mechanics and pull good dps for your class then you will be brought

That said the changes definitely look fake, Midare being changed to a DoT would be ridiculous
