    Shirk is amazing. (Ethics)

    At last, Halone has heard my cries for petty vengeance to be exacted on the asinine!

    After a long day, I just want to finish the MSQ. My gear sux, I'm tired, and this BLM starts talking some serious trash towards the very end of Ala Mhigo. I'm generally pretty fair; Hey, maybe I am underperforming, I'll readily admit if I can. Nobody deserves to be spoken to like that, so I had Zenos Yae Galvus go give him a hug.

    The healer uses the power they've lorded over all since time immemorial by not healing me out of disapproval, and of course, we wipe. BLM McSourpants (Yep, Hi kettle!) gets the vote-kick going and it passes, but while I agree with their decision, that Shirk felt so good.

    How about a Shirk Ethics general to mete out judgement on when we should spread the hate?

    It's kinda hard to say when it's okay to do tbh, if at all... Simply because the moment of sweet vengeance isnt just wasting that one person's time, but your entire partys. So it's like... Yeah a great tool for that but we probably shouldn't.

    Honestly if I ever wanted to waste a specific person's time for being a jerk or something I've always just kicked them. It almost always will pass(especially if it's a DPS) and... That specific person has to queue again
    Was it a DPS? How long did they wait in queue only to start harassing people while in dungeon? Well, now they can wait again.

    If it's a healer and I'm feeling especially vindictive I'll hold off on the kick until right before the final boss. >x>;

    The dumbest skill to ever reach a tank. Stealing group enmity wouldve been fine, biut this one isnt even needed anymore since provoke and ultimaumdont require you to level a second job to learn anymore. Ethics or not, the only reason a tank has to have this on their hotbar, is because they cant tank swap properly, or the other tank cant hold hate. If I ever ran into a tank that trolled so obviously with this skill, theyd be kicked so hard, itd stop being a fun prank for them.

    This is complete and utter BS. Shirk made fluent tank swap possible. In the past MT had to stop attacking, yes, even to withdraw thier weapon, and/or OT had to plan aggro combo beforehand. This tool enables a fluent playstyle for both tanks and even the whole party, as they don't have to watch aggression, making speed kills a breeze.

    Also, I don't think OP wanted to troll, but more like teaching this BLM a lesson. There are other abilities that can be abused to troll like rescue. (Don't do this unless thier your friends, but even they have thier limits.)

    Doesnt change the fact its a crutch for "speedkilling". and what do you mean its not trolling, its abusing an ability to mess with a party member, Its absolutely trolling. by any definition of the term Its exactly the same thing as a diving seal medica 2 as the tank approaches mobs or anything purposely done to disrupt the party or another party member for the sake of "luls"

    Um, in the past you just have to provoke and do your emnity combo (Provoke + savage blade/Halone) to get aggro MT does not need to stop attacking or withdraw their weapon at all...

    The shirk being used here is to let the tank swaps not need to use their emnity combo but continue using their DPS combos thus increasing damage for both MT & ST.

    You obviously don't play a tank and for your party's sake I hope you never will; Your assumption has absolutely no place in reality, {Shirk} not only allow the tanks to dish out way more DPS (for not having to hold back on their skills) but it also makes swaps much faster even if your partner (or you) are undergeared or just slow in general.
    Shirk is a great tool because it DOES increase the overall DPS that tanks can bring to the party; If you do NOT recognize that, you have no say in tank playstyle; What are you doing in this part of the forum anyway?

    What does that even mean? Are you actually mad that there's an ability that makes killing bosses quicker when used properly?
