    I found it a bit frustrating on healer tbh because so many people in the groups I had stood in easily avoidable mechanics, and/or fell off the edge. Didn't take me too long to beat it, but seeing people die to the same things every time was just... blah.

    I only have a problem with people who are making the same mistakes or don't even try to avoid. Otherwise people who are trying but get hit making a few mistakes make the fight that much more challenging on healer, they are the X factor of the run to me that makes every fight different and bring its own challenges. I dont want to just spam dps spells with a heal here and there, this fight has alot of unavoidable damage being dished out which steps up the healing aspect.

    I have fun. Running blind at 291 was intense. Spamming everything I had, trying to keep everyone shielded because I had no idea what was coming. It's still a fun fight, but 15 iLvs higher I'm a lot more lax.

    Totally agree, most fun I've had in an MSQ trial in a long time. Awaiting obvious (but imo unwanted and unwarranted) nerfs due to the playerbase being the way it is.

    Do people really fail to realise that Shinryu in every single FF game so far has been more or less a superboss? He is in this game pretty tame, and before doing the trial i expected Shinryu to be in the final raid tier, but alas.... Any nerfs would put disgrace to his name.

    Question for fellow WHM: is it true cure 3 is good here? Is there a section of the fight I should be using that? I generally don't find need of it, but I've seen it mentioned in a couple threads so any insight would be welcome. Thanks!

    I just beat this for my first time and got a bit of both worlds as far as groups goes. I think one thing to keep in mind is that with this being a story quest, you will have people doing it that have never or will never do any savage mode instances. Because of this, I think the experienced players really need to be a bit understanding that this fight has a lot to take in. Yes it is all pretty obvious once you get the hang of it, but there is a lot going on for a casual player in this fight and they shouldn't be expected to be mistake-free on their first or second try.
