I had a similar experience on another game. I was in a guild for almost a year. I was also one of the first people in it. I thought I was good friends with all of them including the leader. We talked a lot out of the game. I spent so many hours and money in the game, it messed up my schoolwork.

Then the game gave the option to transfer servers. We were going to transfer the guild to a more popular server. Right before the guild switched over, they told me "oh, by the way, you are not coming with us." They they peoceeded to tell lies to the other members about why I could not come. They then blocked me on everything.

So I was stuck on the other server, unable to progress at all because there were only like 2 active people high enough level left on the server.
