BLM needs some love and RDM needs a nerf

I really wish he'd undo the "piety materia = only for healers" crap. A little piety in 3.x made BLM so smooth to play. Now we're back to being at the mercy of server ticks.

You realize the DPS ceiling is really close to the DPS floor for Red Mage right? Discounting outlier examples of RDM's only using jolt or trying to be melee mage or hardcasting aero/thunder, just going through the rotation and getting the numbers we get is pretty much the pinnacle of damage we'll get to do. We don't need a nerf, BLM needs a buff, I can't speak to how exactly since I don't have a BLM at 70 and don't know how it feels out of a personal dislike of turret classes.

I feel like RDM is the one in the right spot. Maybe SMN could use a slight buff and maybe some quality of life changes.
BLM needs a bit of a buff so its the hardest hitting caster (since they're also the most immobile one with the least amount of utility out of all casters.
I feel like SMN & RDM should prob do about the same damage.

The only buffs Black Mage could use that would be fair is giving the 20 potency back to Fire 4 and Blizzard 4.

I think triplecast is at 90 seconds and swift cast is at 30 seconds. If they lowered triplecast to 45 seconds, I think that would be a good spot for it.

Id prefer leylines to follow suit but im a greedy bastard. Hopefully it wont just be more boring (unhelpful) potency buffs.

Potency buffs are practically the purest form of helping a class out lol.
