Please hire GM Wardens that can suspend and ban bots

all it takes is 1 bad apple and you have a nightmare on your hands of people banning for revenge


go look at several of the solution posts in the past where people talk about how players could do something to help enforce it with power, and youll see how bad it can really get


the best solution atm is for more players to be aggressive in reporting bots and such, right now thats the biggest issue, everyone wants the end result, but doesnt want to take the time to report the problem

SE is banning people already, not as fast as some of us want, but it is happening

If it's easy for players to spot, then a GM should be able to be alerted in-game to check out the alleged botting.

If the GM sees a violation or potential, then THEY should have the authority to suspend the bot until further proof can be examined.

Nowhere did I suggest that players should "be in control of this".

They are not reporting account bans or categories of violations in FFXIV. Where do you get your information?

Completely agree. Do we really want to go on this witch hunt? Grinding crafting is monotonous as is. Should I really have to reply to people to prove that I am not a bot when all I want is my level?

Yes, because god forbid you get crafting experience illegally while I am dying of carpal tunnel syndrome. Because of my pain you should burn at the stake. Twice. While having rotten vegetables thrown at you. Because of what you do it totally affects me no matter how mundane it may seem or possibly be.

Yeah, the current system is ridiculos. We need a simple way to report in game issues. Plain and simple. That needs to be implimented before they charge.

Only thing you are missing is that you can never suspend THEN investigate, it is always investigate first then suspend should the situation require it

Do you remember when GMs too you to Mordion Gaol and investigated or interrogated you?

Square Enix is not stupid enough to make players wardens. I never suggested that.
