Yeah, that's the only fight in the game with a knockback mechanic that you'd want to defeat.
Error 3102 Club, Order of the 52nd Hour

You could try being a little less sarcastic and a little more prone to explain your point of view, though.
Thing is, this skill doesn't work on both currently released primals, sadly - and they are supposed to be, if even for a couple more days, the 'endgame'. I will say that I still haven't tested it in old content aside from Titan (and Landslide still packed a punch...), but we are still talking about old content. It DOES work on some current skills (namely Tidal Wave and Swole), but it's a kind of content that can easily be cleared without it even with a cast-heavy class such as BLM, which is the job I used to test it. Skills, I repeat, not "mechanics" (you can't avoid using Vrils in Lakshmi, that'd certainly be a mechanic to be ignore) - and mind you, I love knockback-ignoring skills in any game, I do recognize both its value and its fun.
My point in the OP was, though, that Surecast feels counterintuitive to use when it removes itself on the very moment you start casting, rather than prolonging its effects during the cast. Would it not make more sense for the skill to work when I'm casting, rather than when I'm not?
