And leves replenish only four every hour. So they too have their limit.

My point was that there seems to be certain people who apply the same basic argument to everything. An argument devoid of substance or any purpose other than to lament days gone by in XI.

There's nothing wrong with taking the opposing view of the OP. But none of those people have given a single substantive reason against it, only condescending conjecture.

Leves give a minuscule amount of exp every 12 hours. The whole point in stocking leve allowances was so that that exp could be stored up and used at will. Personally I don't mind running back and forth, but I can empathize with the notion that it's an arbitrary trip each time.

I think a better suggestion would be to have to go to the associated Adventurers Guild to receive an "aetheryte clearance" of which you could only ever have one. That clearance allows you to receive leves at said aetheryte. That way there's an initial travel process then the player can grind through as they please. Seems like more of a happy medium.
