Something I suggested on these forums before: have just enmity generation caused by attacks and abilities increased by VIT for all tank role jobs. That way, tanks get what they want (increased enmity) and devs get what they want (tanks not doing ridiculous amounts of damage). They could even take it a step further and have that enmity generation bonus only active while a tank is in their respective tanking stance.
