I don't want an ability that is only rarely useful when I make a mistake.
Not completely useless? Give me a situation where it does anything during trials or boss fights. From what I've noticed, it doesn't remove ANYTHING that isn't applied by trash. IT DOESN'T EVEN REMOVE S RANK MONSTER DEBUFFS!!! Like... come ooonnnnn!!!

If they at least made it ACTUALLY remove things like Paralysis, Damage-Down debuff, Vulnerability stacks, etc., it would actually be useful. You might never mess up, but sometimes you get these things as a result from a party member screwing up. OF COURSE, you shouldn't be able to break free from Zurvan's Demon's Claw stun, or move during Time Stasis. And things like Susano's slashing debuff shouldn't be removed as well or else you wouldn't even have to tank swap... OR SHOULD IT?!

Shake it off IS useless. It can only remove debuffs that could be otherwise esuna'd. So it will never be usefull in a raid/trial because it will never be able to remove an important debuff

Well, if you have to stance dance at all in that crazy long rotation it completely breaks the timing of everything, and loss them deeps from lost or poorly utilized gauge.

I find I have gloom over how little opportunities I have to actually do a even somewhat optimized rotation/opener in 4 man content. It is not that it matters really or not in that content, it is that it let me practice this, in that content (and then blowing it up was always fun to see). But that is not really the case anymore. That and the weirdness in that are best burst does not come to at the earliest 135 seconds or so into a fight.

Think 3k is still at or somewhat behind pally, if you factor them receiving slashing de-buff.

The death of WAR is not coming 100% from a lack of place in a meta we have no idea about, it is coming from what many are considering a poor QoL play style now.

U wanna use infuriate after the fc to maximize the infuriate trait.

So after getting 100 rage on stormseye combo,

Hs, IR, Berserk, Fc, upheaval, infuriate, fc, maim, stormspath, fc x 4

See my reply above. Use infuriate after first fc to maximize infuriate trait.

I can't do that. After the first Fell Cleave with Inner Release, you're down to 55 (Inner Release costs 20, minus 25 from the Fell Cleave). Upheaval is on cooldown, so I can't use it there either. I must wait after Storm's Path to use it. Plus, Infuriate is on cooldown too until after the 4th Fell Cleave.

lol no, you want to infuriate after your first HS and put it on cd immediately. The rotation posted by tahaiku on the first page is correct. Not only do you waste infuriate but also berserk and IR time by trying to build up to 100 BG first then doing your combo, as well as missing trick attack window. Using it right away it will come off cd sooner than you trying to save it up for 100 BG then popping it. Stop spreading bad information

If the boss has a facepull range (unlike a9s, for example, where you can start with heavy swing without delay), it might be better to tomahawk > infuriate before your first heavy swing.
