Need Help with Lvl 35 Summoner Class

As I understand, you're getting past the first fight but having trouble on the second. You said your gear is in the 30s but if it's normal quality ("white") gear it can still be low. I recommend picking up a high quality vintage picatrix for your weapon at least.
You can Google a couple of videos of people doing the fight 4 years ago. The basics should be the same. The healer can hold off against the summon so you can focus on the summoner. This lets you use Ifrit or Emerald for more damage. Stand far away from the healer so they don't get hit with the AOEs, keep Bio and Miasma up, use Energy Drain for some extra damage, heal yourself as needed.

That is weird because everytime I tried it, the healer died very quickly to the summon. She would not heal herself and kept dying in a minute. I had all aggro from the summoner and she did not get in any AOEs the firts time.

I happen to have a level 34 summoner on Coeurl. When I get off work I'll go level her up and give it a go. I don't recall having any issues a few years ago on my main, but for all I know the changes they've made with classes coulda had some impact on the earlier duties, including the NPCs for whatever reason.

I'll record it too - will let you know if anything odd comes up.
