Please relook at the You Got Game achievement

There are already some people who have this mount as they have been hunting for the past few years since the game's launch, so it is achievable. If the time sink/amount of effort required to get this seems ridiculous, then just don't go out of your way to get it. Everything in the game doesn't have to be easy to get - it's nice to have rare mounts/minions/glamours etc. for people who want to spend time to get them.

Is this for the tiger mount? I'll agree the number of kills is insanely high.

I keep trying to point out that on some servers this is nearly impossible. I am only at 184 kills after 4 years of play so looking at almost 40 years to get that number of kills if the rate stays the same. That is insane. Not every server is equal when it comes to the hunt community on some the environment is very hostile.

I did enough hunts to fully upgrade my gear every time new gear upgrades came out, from release to present. I have done enough ARR hunts to fully purchase every ARR & HW zone mount speed increase. I'm barely close to 800 A kills, and less than 100 S kills. It may have been doable before 4.0, but getting this achievement now is just unthinkable.

Doing the math, in even the most GENEROUS of terms: There's like 29 S ranks now. On average the shortest respawn time would be about 60 hours. You need 2000 S rank kills for mount. If the planets aligned, and you managed to be present for EVERY S rank spawn AND managed to get full credit against all odds to the contrary, you are looking at it taking you 69 cycles of S rank spawns. It would take 4140 hours for all those spawns (at minimum) to occur, even if you didn't need to be online for all the dead time between spawns. That's 172.5 days, or nearly six months. Maybe even less time since right now SB zones have extra instances...still.

Now consider that a good 17+ of the S ranks are ARR hunts that can currently be SOLOED by players, and that they can do so quickly and you would be left in the dark on whether or not the S rank spawned, or someone else killed for half a day before chalking it up to someone else killing it. Given enough insane dedication, I could see this achievement being doable in oh say... 3+ years. Most likely, even then you will be far off.

All said though, I've seen pics of the mount and it isn't even that great so MEH.

I would support lowering the S rank kills to 1000 (hey, it's supposed to be a rare achievement) and buffing all ARR and HW S ranks so they cannot be soloed. It's pretty frustrating zoning in the second an S rank is called only for it to be dead before you're even halfway there with upgraded mount speed because some people have the patience of a rabid chihuahua.

Some things are meant only for the truly dedicated and this is one of them. It is an achievement that is meant to take an absurd amount of time to achieve. The rewards are more special that way; you are supposed to go "Wow!" and be amazed when you see someone with them. If someone has it, they earned the right to show it off. It is supposed to invoke that old school feel of amazement, like in vanilla WoW when you saw someone with raid gear, you know they had to work hard to get it.

This achievement should not be easier to get.

It can't be that awful if I saw someone with the mount 2 days after expansion release during EA. These achievements are retroactive. If you've been an active hunter since its release in 2.0 I fail to see the problem. Why should OP get to belittle the achievements of people who have already obtained it?

The same whining and moaning was has about the mentor mount. Not happening. There needs to be LONG term goals in game.

To be fair, I don't think making the achievement one tier down would make it easy. Bring Your A/S Game IV requires 1,500 and 1,000 respectively. That seems a bit more reasonable.

It isn't supposed to be reasonable though. The more insane it is, the more wow factor it has. The insanity of achieving them is what makes them so special.

Somethings are meant for only a handful to have and for the rest of the community to stare in awe at.

Does anyone have any proof of someone either clearing this achievement or having the mount from it?
