The Death Penalty is no excuse for scaling tank damage with STR again

Give tank gear more vitality in exchange for less power, tanks do less damage & have more HP, goal achieved?

If you're saying keep Tank damage scaling off STR but just giving Tank gear more VIT to "compensate" then that would please nobody. Because as many people on the forum have pointed out lately there comes a point where you don't need more HP. As long as you have enough HP to survive then any excess just becomes absolutely pointless. Which is precisely what has created this situation where Tanks are now wearing ilvl 270 STR accessories instead of the current high end VIT accessories.
