RDM will be my main and I will gear it first, but I feel like most people will force me to go on my AST to heal the party.

short answer with a lot of meaning.
SE better make an interesting Tank or Healer class quickly, because i'm staying with SAM once i get SB.
that, or just make other classes more interesting in general: i wish i could stay with monk for a while longer, but i just think it was nerfed to a certain degree in the last patch (Cross-Class abilities and Touch of Death gave monk a decent amount of damage).

Hard to say. I'm certainly sticking with RDM over SMN, but I don't have any other 70s yet so I'm not sure how much fun other classes are. I know I won't go back to maining healer, but that is a change I'm making in all my MMOs not just this one.

Iv mained scholar since 2.2. I loved that job so much. But now It all depends on if they do something to fix it. If not I'll be trading in my book for a rapier. Regardless, I still plan on leveling sch and red to 70.

I know the feeling. Back in my WoW days I spent 7 years as DPS (warlock). Coming to FFXIV, I decided to be a healer main. Been pretty succesful at it, but now I see myself back to my old roots. It's a strange feeling...

If you enjoy RDM, tell those people to fuck off even if it friends or FC mates. They shouldn't be dictating what class you can play. Sometimes you have to make a stand even if it pisses people off.
If my static didn't still need a healer than I would've switched my main to SAM.
I'm leveling a SAM alt that I plan on using regularly.

Switched from Ninja to Samurai and I have no intentions of switching back. XD
I will eventually level my other jobs and probably play them quite a bit, but I'm a Samurai main for life.
My 2 chars stay on RDM and SAM.. all other classes are terribly nerfed and destroyed anyway >:I
Staying Samurai till the end. Even if its numbers take a hit I absolutely love the play style and mechanics of its rotation. Hype train keeps rolling.
