And therein lies the problem: That's exactly what the Dev team want Tanks to do and it's madness.

Rather than looking at their tanking meta and saying "Hmm, we didn't intend for this, but there seems to be a consensus that this is a fun way to run the class and, tbh, they're still being the focal point of the group so let's just roadblock some of those mass pulls and monitor." They went along the route of "Hmm, we didn't intend for this, let's adjust their kits and our encounter balance to make them play how we envision they should."

Is it their want to do this? Sure, it's their game but when you have a class so largely underplayed that's intrinsic to how your game runs in group play: It's dumb, ego maniacal and counter productive.
