Nothing stopping them from digging a hole in Goblet to add depth though? Can always say Lolorito is feeling generous and decide to build a pool over there or something.

Excavate some of the cliffs beside/behind the waterfall and expand the brimming heart. It doesn't have to be too deep, only deep enough for swimming, not diving.
