They started down the road of character redemption with Yotsuyu leading up to the Doma castle fight. It'll be interesting to see the interactions between Gosetsu and Yotsuyu though. Comical at first maybe, but I'm looking forward to how it develops(Please look forward to it).

I think the use of the echo in this case is the foot in the door for it. Her circumstances don't excuse her behavior but I don't think she's had anyone who wasn't a garbage person around her until Gosetsu. So while her behavior until this point shows that she is garbage as well and would immediately stab Gosetsu in the back, I would 100% not be surprised if there's a heel-face turn in her future.
