Just wait for the new version of DeadlyBossMods to come out and the fight will be mostly cake after that.

I smell some serious back-pedaling BS here.Jealousy? Nein. If I wanted to be jealous I'd go stare at all the fat cats buying jewelery at the local Tiffany's.
To be frank, I hate the Ifrit drops. I'd rather be getting the drops from Garuda - those look far more tasteful. And the statement you're referencing was more or less meant to be a reference to the attitudes some endgame/hardcore linkshells tend to adopt. (I'm not saying ALL of them are the same, just that some of them are full of bad apples...)
You specifically refer to people who've beaten Ifrit as "rubbing the gear in everyone else's face"... That is pure and sheer jealousy talking.
Now you claim not to care about the gear...
lol right.
The frequency and ease with which you change opinions/stories would impress even the most slippery politician.
It would also be just as unconvincing.
Ok. Simple as this: The option to change the difficulty level of the fight, at the expense of item drop quality.
This also applies to Dzemael Darkhold.
In a nutshell, let's say we adopt a version of the Guildleve "Star" difficulty system.
3 Stars: Original Ifrit Hyper Difficulty Setting (Lv45). Gives Ifrit Loot Drops.
2 Stars: -4 Levels from 3-star difficulty, grants +1 craftable gear items. (Or NG if you're gonna whine about it)
1 Star: -6 levels from 3-star difficulty, grants NG craftable gear items.
This is not hard to wrap your head around, people...
Why, thank you. Feral Ren for President 2012!I smell some serious back-pedaling BS here.

She wants Ifrit nerfed so she can have an easier time beating it. The reason she can't make a clear argument is because she won't just come out and say that's what she wants.
Instead she keeps cooking up all these different surrogate arguments, hopping from one to the other and back again...
Give her a week or so.. she'll start a new thread about exactly the same thing, but with some new angle...
Chances are you won't be able to defeat Garuda anyway since contents difficulty keeps increasing, now people on your server can rub the tasteful weapon!
