Apparently, some people cannot into sarcasm. Even when I make it so freakingly obvious with a "Btw, that was sarcasm" statement.

That one statement says far more about you and the way you think than I think you realize. Just sayin'
First, you feel they're rubbing it in your face. You do not speak for everybody else, and not everybody else perceives things the way you do.

Jealousy? Nein. If I wanted to be jealous I'd go stare at all the fat cats buying jewelery at the local Tiffany's.

To be frank, I hate the Ifrit drops. I'd rather be getting the drops from Garuda - those look far more tasteful. And the statement you're referencing was more or less meant to be a reference to the attitudes some endgame/hardcore linkshells tend to adopt. (I'm not saying ALL of them are the same, just that some of them are full of bad apples...)
