Indeed it is and saying "I dont want this race because" is fine to say but "This race just cant happen because I say so" is not.
Because you hold no authority you have no ability to say something cant be added to the game but you are able to state your opinion on why you dont want it.

Saying you dont want it because you feel it does not work in the story thats fine but saying it cant because the story does not allow it is not really your call.
We are talking about requesting a race that is compatible with anything other races can do minus helmets and is already in the game, not some random idea so its not like people are requesting some wild ass race from the blue.

Also its a discussion forum and thus you cant parade around trying to shut others down by saying it cant happen.

I'm afraid that it's not up to you to decide whether I can say something or not, as long as I abide to the rules of the forum, which I obviously am.

No one here holds any authority unless they're marked as developers or reps. By your logic, no one here should say anything. According to my view of the story, and my (admittedly mostly indirect) experience in the industry, the possibility of this to happen are very close to zero, and I'll say exactly that.

You may not like being shut down, but that's an entirely valid form of discussion. I'm not here to please anyone.

You know what I'm done with you. Your input isn't worth a grain of salt to me anymore. You'll clearly argue against it no matter what we say.

I expected you to stop being so antagonistic over a request multiple people want but okay I'll play.

Also I dont mind being shut down, but only when its the devs which who actually can. Like dude you cant stop nobody from wanting something.
