    It does if the servers are bad (which they are.) however they can also fix some latency issues, but a lot of people need to do what Yoshida asked them to do -- Post in the technical thread with all the appropriate info so they can check ISP settings since not everyone is having the same issues.

    Yea already done. And imo fixing the servers should have been done before adding content almost everyone is going to have issues with due to latency problems. I know it's easier said than done, but if they keep adding all this content that only one side of the world can do very easily....

    I'm not sure there would be anyone left playing if they didn't add any content until V2.

    Thanks for making me feel like a shitty player, it's not even animation lock.

    Cracks appear, and I move, but I'm still hit. 80% of the time it gets me, I do nothing different, I run at the sight of them. Moogle better not have floor death that kills you for server lag, or at least give us some more time to move. I was trying to push through, I was totally gonna stay and pay, but man.... am I ever pissed.

    Just gonna hoard gil in the meantime, use the crysta I bought when I got the game to check out the moogle fight. I guess I'll wait until the servers are fixed if I'm further disappointed, but maybe by that time I wont care about coming back. Ya ya I know don't let the door hit me on the way out. Nobody cares, i get it, but hopefully SE can keep the many complaints like mine in mind when developing the next interim content.

    And I played this game damn near everyday since October. I bought my copy on SE release at EB games. I want to stay, but this is punishing and stupid. I know what to do, I'm trying to do it, but the server can't keep pace, and this fight it actually matters. It's felt glum since 1.19 good luck Yoshi, truly wish you success.

    Guys but it costs so much to have regional servers. Every single crappy korean mmo with 1/100th of SE's money can have one but for them it costs too much and is too much trouble..

    They should add a difficulty system like they have in leves. Though instead of changing the lvl of Ifrit, it would adjust the time you have before his moves pop off. If you have no trouble dodging his moves now, you can use the highest setting; while people with the 500+ms ping times could choose the lowest settings and still have enough time to dodge his moves on time.

    Or they could make the server auto adjust Ifrit's timing according to a ping test of the entire group, just before it loads the instance.

    I usually have no trouble moving during his first 50%hp, but below 50%hp the timing on his moves ramps up like 10x as fast making it almost impossible for anyone w/o a flawless connection to dodge.

    In my opinion they should just make position based attacks client sided. that would solve it all

    I have around 330ms average when I did the test. That means, I see the tremor LATER than a JP player sees it, that means I start running away later than I should, and eventually getting hit (while on my screen I dodged, on a JP player's screen who see it almost real time, i didnt)

    I'm glad SE is "investigating" the issue, I hope they either remove position attacks or make them client side. It's not fair that some content that should be the same difficulty for everyone, is different depends on where you live.
