Yes you can, as SAM requires a class or Job at level 50 before you can unlock it. I'm not sure if story completion is a requirement though, but the job boost potions will more than satisfy the level requirement.

Not anymore. They did remove the prior requirement that stated, that you would need a level 50 character and finish the dungeons/trials cape westwind, praetorium and castrum. Now it's only one level 50 character.

However back to the topic, while you can use a level boosting potion and as stated above, this would give you access to the new jobs, if you purchased storm blood, your story quest will not automatically update as well. So that means, you could continue with your level 33 Ninja and follow the story line all the way to 50 or 60, or you could pick up any other job including the new jobs, and continue the level 33 story line from there.

But here's the question I am asking, if you would boost a character to 60 with the potion, and then continue doing the MSQ with your lower level, what was the point of the potion then, since you can currently only use 1 potion per service account. Your Ninja would be level 50 in no time, still giving you then the option to pick up the new Job if that's what you are craving.

If you would use the potion you will have to go back with either your newly level 60, or any other job including the new ones, and do the story line that you now have extremely out leveled.

It's your money do how you please, but I do think that it's a waste if you asking my opinion, because you can get to level 50 real quick and you wouldn't have to spend 2 weeks backtracking in MSQ and Job Quests, if you would have just done it with your current character to begin with. Therefore you are not really saving any time here, if that was the concern, and if it's just for entering the new areas, well you won't be able to do that either, till you catches up on story quest, which at this point are over 500+ quests for you.

At the end you're out of 20 bucks and didn't gain anything, besides frustration and being totally overwhelmed lol

Thank you both very much for your answers My only point was that i realy dont like the gameplay of my ninja. But i realy DO like the Story so far thats why I want to continue it. If I can in fact continue the Story with a lvl 50 Samurai instead of my lvl 33 Ninja I would not mind to be overleveled. I like that even more because i can safe sidequests without having to worry that iam underleveled for my next MSQ part.

When I Boost a Monk to 60 and recieve the ilvl 258 stuff for it I should be able to use that said equipment on my Samurai once he hits 60 am i right?

@LunaFaye Iam thankful for your concerns and will take them into consideration. Iam not that patient but I dont want to RUSH through the experience eigther I just want to maximize my fun and I have high hopes for the Samurai class and simply cant wait to play it. And now there is this possibility to play it early without losing any Story progression that sounded just to good to be true
