Getting them the day of release, or even a day or two after, wouldn't make you lose access to the content. The early access code will remain good up to the 23rd to give people time to get and register the expansion.





Regardless, a better practice is to just bundle the Early Access codes and expansion codes together for those who preorder. Then this thread wouldn't have people complaining about the lack of a second code. The email SE sends out when they charge your card is pretty misleading: the wording insinuating you're getting the actual expansion code, but it's just the Early Access code. All of this trouble could be easily avoided by just bundling the codes together.
