Yeah, it makes me chuckle when people say things like "but Monk's internal release got buffed to 30% so quit crying!!"the only thing more upsetting than what they did to monk is the fact people saying we got buffed with skills we already had and they just removed the job trait for and put it in the skill itself... seems no one actually knows alot about monk except for the few mains probably fewer now.... :c

So being at lvl 70 and near i310, i306 currently. I can say that the changes don't feel all that much later on. The biggest change personally is the lost of touch of death. Though the shorter span of demolish takes the need or possiblity to use another GCD to avoid over ticking demolish. Riddle of fire feels like a good replacement of b4b since it gives you the ability to survive while popping it. Riddle of earth i never use as you need to properly time it so that you get HIT so that its affect goes off. So bosses with leaps to next phase that don't hit you will not trigger the reset. Brotherhood+Deep Meditation quickly become a god send. It will quickly make up in the lack of dps. One thing i wish would change was the cast time on Forbiden Chakra so i can spam it more when fight large amount of ads.

Due to the 20s duration on it, it seems like something only to pop with Brotherhood and during either a DPS check or during a time frame you know you won't have to worry about mechanics. This may be the single time we'd actually love an Arrow from an AST, just to counteract the weaponcast timer.Riddle of fire sucks. In terms of monk at least. at 320 of potency you would be tossing some 10k or 15k (if direct crit) here and there.
Riddle of Earth... hmm, can help cause there's fight were you have to run, take a hit, so it prevent the fall of the GL
and monsters hit like trucks in rush hours makes it slightly easier for the heals.
(as for tackle mastery, I still don't get it)

Since they fixed Monk's TP issue you can go for a Skill Speed build this patch. If you boost your SS to the +1300 range, I believe you will be able to reach roughly 1.7/8 sec GCD . At that speed, Riddle of Fire will probably put you back to 3.0 monk attack speed. So you won't feel any slower than you are now at GL 3 with the proper set of gear.Riddle of fire sucks. yeah, just a update, with so many mechanics dealing damages and/or pushing back, Riddle of Earth might lok situational, but It's a huge help and that +20% in all for big wave of damages saved more than 1 time, but yeah Tackle mastery is still a mystery at the moment. only used fire so far (and wind once, but it was me, just for fun, it could've been just fine with fire tackle and tank stun)
