Got Red Mage to 52...so that's neat. Other than that, my review is that it sucks.

Don't misunderstand, I'm well aware that the content in this expansion might very well be amazing, but I've been clicking on Raubhan for 48 hours now and have yet to get past him. That's been my experience so far so therefore, as far as I''m concerned, this expansion sucks.

Queued 2hrs to get into the game, get booted after playing 1hr and back to waiting queue.
the whole wkend, I only manage to enjoy TOTAL 2-3hrs of early access only.

I enjoyed the new jobs, but I only got to 62, and I heard the new cap was 70? So that's a bit strange. Only two new zones and the story seems to stop at an odd point with that Raubhan guy. Not bad, but feels incomplete.

How do I feel about it? I hate it. I detest it. I despise it and want it to be taken down and be given back the 2 days that I lost trying to go through the accursed main story.

New jobs are nice but leveling is slow, tedious and repetitive. No real effective way to level without feeling like you are doing the same content for the millionth time. Main story would have worked to refresh old content but...
I would say the new areas are fun and interesting but I havent been able to see it all because bottleneck.

The good:
+ The job gauges are excellent
+ Samurai is fun
+ Ability pruning - lotta people wont like this one, but imo having 4-5 hotbars all filled with abilities isn't interesting or complex. It's just bloated.

The Bad:
- Memes of Cold Steel.
- 90k loop
- Both new classes are DPS. IDK if this is because they felt they couldn't balance another tank / healer or if they felt the current tank / healer jobs hit all the niches and they didn't want to expand on them currently.

So far? Not worth it. At all. Red mage seems fairly interesting, and that's it's only redeeming quality.

There may as well not be any MSQ. So far, there hasn't been a released expansion, since there's been almost nothing that can be experienced that a regular Heavensward subscription wouldn't see.

If this were a regular patch weekend, it would be interesting to deal with the balance changes. I didn't pay an extra $40 for a rebalancing patch, though.
