The servers in this game were not meant to handle the amount of people that we have. We're playing in a way the developers did not have in mind, and that is the truth. No we don't neee server upgrades. We already have several servers that we could be populating, and we didn't. This is our fault.

I agree to a point... though your logic is flawed as SE is currently controlling server Balmung and Gilgamesh by preventing new character creation. So point being they could have restricted new characters sooner. just saying
