Balmung and Gilgamesh Crisis

A. Square did not block people from manipulating character transfer to fill servers that were already locked down to new characters.
B. Square refused to name an official RP server and that left the community to rally around Balmung.
C. FC's/FC housing still cannot be moved, which has kept many people, including myself and my FC from even considering relocating.
D. Only recently did they bother really offering decent incentive for people to leave high pop servers. This should have been done ages ago before the drop of Stormblood, along with offering the low pop server rewards for new characters to help even out populations.
E. There is this very specific 'H' word that comes to mind when someone talks about what others should or should not do but continue to act similarly themselves.

If square could implement a way for FC's to transfer all their possesions (Houses included) I guarantee the congestion would vanish.

Square is also at fault for letting people transfer into locked down worlds, as the server has only been getting more cramped by the day.

We're also facing the issue some people, such as myself, love the RP aspect of Balmung, and no other server really offers that. If we had a server dedicated to rp (Perhaps square could mark one of the "Empty" worlds as a new rp world, I dunno if that'll help) then again, I guarantee you the server congestion for bal would disappear rather quickly.

Gilgamesh is primarly raiding if I remember correctly, never actually been on it though, so I don't know much on how to fix it's issue.

You can take advantage of that any time now.

As for me. My friends, and the community I enjoy are all here on Balmung, and I can tolerate the queues for that. The other issues, are datacenter-wide and expansion-borne so transferring won't solve them.

A friend and I are thinking about transferring as well to a new server. Was there any news on NA getting free transfers like EU is getting?

you can transfer to any preferred world (I think worlds like goblin or zulera, may be wrong) for free. Or transfer out of blamung for free. you'd have to check, but I know there are free transfers if certian conditions are met.

Ah alright. I'm Gilgamesh here. I started out on that server and didn't mind the queue times. Even during the HW launch it wasn't this bad. If it doesn't get any better than yeah, I'll definitely look into it.

currently in queue right now after getting d/ced from POTD. Started at 3,300. Now currently at 2,524. *sigh*
