It's not the gating, it's not the issues, not the response from SE, no. Because at the end of the day, as far as MMO launches go, this is one of the smoothest pre-launches I've ever seen. No server crashes, no bringing it down for maintenance, all of the new mechanics and classes work beautifully, no lag. There's a single problem, that being the solo instances, which is a huge problem, no doubt, but still a single one.

The worst part, for me, is how quickly this community I remember being praised for it's inclusivity and friendliness is willing to turn into shrieking idiots, turning on each other and the game they 'love', over not having their way. Demanding the servers be shut down because they aren't getting their way, demanding people be fired or even die.

It's a game in early access, people, more-over, and MMO in early access, which made the admittedly naive mistake of not having any stress tests before release. I don't understand why everyone wants to get so heated and hateful.

I pay my sub too, (in fact, I pay two), I want to continue with the MSQ as much as anyone else, and yes, this is a huge problem, but is that justification to scream and rant and rave and make an ass of yourselves, non-stop? Or to start screeching at other players who disagree with you? Really stop and think about what you're doing. You're throwing a temper tantrum because your (Early Access) video game isn't working for you. Yes, other people are having the same issue, but just as many, if not many, many more, aren't having issues.

But, of course, since I'm not calling for everyone at SE to be fired or give me three free months or something stupid like that, I'm a white-knight, so, there you have it.

Yeah, I pretty much agree. I'm definitely a bit annoyed and am hoping for a speedy resolution, but the levels of salt from just about everyone else is a lot more aggravating to me than the game not working. It just makes an unpleasant experience even worse.

Just the vocal minority that this game has garnered through sheer popularity. They aren't indicative of the community I know and love. I give it a few weeks before they move onto complaining about something else.

This, exactly. You cant take Internet People seriously. Its impossible for them to be happy.

This is my concern as well. I think it's imperative I get ahead of the bottleneck by Tuesday if I don't want to be looking at quite possibly being stuck for at least a week.

There is no 'getting ahead'. I'm all the way in Yanxia trying and failing to do a solo duty there. I'm the only person clicking and I'm getting error 90ked.

"No lag?"

Did you even DO palace of the dead on the first day? It was nothing but consistent lag and 90k's during primetime at best. I even saw posts and heard from people I know doing PVP and dungeons that they were being disconnected. The reason the server hasn't been brought down for maintenance is either because SE can't solve the problems we're currently having or in the case of solo instances, "keep trying or wait for it to work," like it'll magically just fix itself. The POTD issue fixed itself and the game is mostly playable outside of the expansion. Do you even see what is wrong with that sentence? An expansion pre-release happens, and for the grand total of the players it's completely unavailable. Let's also not forget that for the people who did get past, "the wall," there is a now a boss who basically deletes characters after you beat it, meaning you can't play the game period if you fail that dice roll.

Honestly, the only time I ever get mad about all of this is when people seriously try to defend all of the half-hearted things SE has done. I could also get over all of the other issues this game is having right now, but the boss glitch is pretty much unforgivable. It's such a massive oversight it's ridiculous. Having to hear from a friend + other basically saying that their character is stuck in complete limbo and they can't do anything about it is really the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
