I have been lamenting the state of WHM, but reading the SCH job guide is making me just as sad.
I've been grumbling about these changes since the media tour. The bump in Adlo price was the icing on the shit-cake. Why should people take SCH for shields when a Noct Ast can pump out cheaper, stronger, insta-cast shields? Not to mention the lack of any substantial AoE damage (give us a Holy/Gravity equivalent, please).
Aspected Benefit also get Mp cost increase so we dont know how much it cost until we see itI've been grumbling about these changes since the media tour. SCH continues to get dumped on. Meanwhile, WHMs cry and moan themselves into a pile of buffs.
No, all 3 healers got a bad passive - The Asylum/Assize CDR chance on crit Cure is bad, the Aetherflow CDR chance on using a stack is bad, and the AST Lightspeed CDR on Crit Benefic/Benefic 2 is bad.
WHM also got a second bad passive (Lilies), but let's not pretend like the other healers got passive traits that insta-heal all damage to the party and unavoidably Toad every enemy in combat.
Good King Moogle Mog, Good King Mog! Lord of all the land (kupo)!
No reason for many to play scholar when it's playstyle for shoved under AND they got nerfed to the ground. I might have all 3 at 60 but I'm done healing. I'm too disgusted to even want to play that OP job. I'll go play OP PLD and try to get through the q times.
Decided to main White Mage instead of Scholar on the last second. It feels dirty to play Scholar. Nerfed into the ground, by far the only class who is nerfed so badly. Increased adlo cost the icing to the cake. If Chain Strategem proves to not be as garbage as it most likely will be, I'll main it again for raid utility. But for now, it seems I would be sticking to the slightly less shit White Mage. Thanks SE.
