The pre-order code is only for EA, they will send the actual SB key later on the 20th or when you get charged for your order.
Amazon Customer Services are of no help - they don't know the difference between an access code and the early access.
I've just received this from Amazon Customer Services:
I understand you'd like to receive the access code for the game Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood (PS4).
I know it is a pre order and I've gone through your order details and can see that it'll be dispatched on 19 June 2017.
Further I've contacted the manufacturer for these codes and they've confirmed that they will send the codes to your email address within a week after the item is dispatched.
Please accept my sincere apologies as we're unable to provide it today because it is directly provided by the manufacturer.
This is what happened to me. What's more, changing payment seems to be buggy and nonfunctional, and even trying to Debit Now via Paypal hasn't worked. Currently waiting on a response to a ticket... Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.Preorder the expansion months ago. Was sent a new card from my bank forcing my non-expired card to be switched because of some chip in the new card. SE now charges me the day of maintenance and tells me the card does not match. Would been nice to charge my card at least a week ago or something with a little more heads up than 24hrs. Poor Customer support.
Can anyone in the uk tell me of a retailer that actually sends out the early access codes, for ps4 version specifically?
I just cancelled my amazon.co.uk order 'cause it looks like they wont be sending them out until release date, despite an email I received to the contrary...
Have people received their codes from either game.co.uk or shopto.net, for example?
Buying on PSN is a last resort.
Thanks.
PSN is your best bet I imagineCan anyone in the uk tell me of a retailer that actually sends out the early access codes, for ps4 version specifically?

No email of tracking or despatched at all so far. Hopefully it will get sent from France tomorrow.
My order on SE site still says: Validated
I'm very disappointed that not a single mod/admin could give me an answer regarding this query. (Haven sent an email too and ignored as well)
I'm another of the Amazon customers who get shafted by this.
Still no code. I had contacted them 6 times since the mogstation started accepting codes and no one has been able to give me my code.
Each time they say a different date or tell me to read the website with them. I proceed to tell them early access starts at 10am and they just dont get it.
Welp I had to cancel my order. I hope that SE sees this so they can punish Amazon for losing them sales (and fans as now I wont be playing Stormblood).
.
Shopto. I cancelled my order from Amazon after the last post I made here. The code was available straight away. I don't know what Amazon are playing at.Can anyone in the uk tell me of a retailer that actually sends out the early access codes, for ps4 version specifically?

You can see the code under your order history(I think. Having trouble currently logging in to it to check exactly where it is). I didn't get an email with it. You have to agree that you can't refund if you click to see the code.

Latest response from Amazon:
"I've checked our website and can confirm that the code will be sent to customers anytime tomorrow as it is mentioned on the promotion page"
So, they can't be bothered to check what's happening, they have just read their own products page... and that's not what the promotion page says at all, it's ambiguous.
I think it's worth paying the extra £7 on PSN rather than giving anything to Amazon.

I just ordered from there, and got the code just as you said, already activated it on the redemption site, and the code I got from that on PSN.
As for amazon, reason I stuck with my order with them for so long is I got this response when I enquired about it a month or so ago, which had put my mind at ease at the time;I've now checked the details of this promotion for Final Fantasy XIV: Storm blood (PS4).
On this occasion I can confirm you that the early access code will be emailed to the customer before the start of early access.
