I never said that people on FFXIVCore don't care about FFXIV. That's false. The fact is, some people there are not happy with FFXIV, and therefore, doesn't play it, and doesn't want to pay for it. The people that don't play FFXIV can't post on this forums, and therefore, can't participate on this forums, including voting on "polls". Many of them feel that it's too soon to pay for FFXIV. That's the general consensus.
I just can't get past that you think that the only poll that matters is the one here, such as it is:

It may surprise you to learn that not everyone likes posting here. They may prefer the moderation style elsewhere or they already have an established circle of friends from other games like FFXI that a fan site also supports.

But you certainly don't show up at a FFXIV fan site because even though you don't want to play, you love logging in to skew poll results. At least, there wouldn't be so many they would actually win the poll.

There are a lot of people who want to participate, want this game to succeed, but don't feel it's worth investing in right now. This appears to be a consensus across fan sites, and I can't understand why it looks like you're taking the position that the opinion of fan sites don't matter because they can't tell who's played in the last month or not.

Those people are potential FFXIV customers and the lifeblood of your site.
