that boss has literally 0 to learnYou don't really get to practice on this boss like you do with other bosses. You wipe once, it's game over. That's extremely annoying. It becomes hard to learn her patterns and behavior. On top of that, she basically regenerates health for every mistake. Too many and she just instantly wipes your party too, not giving you a chance to actually learn how to fight against her.
aoe circle -> dont stay inside
cast with a huge eye -> look away
theres absolutely nothing new to this battle

You wouldn't know that if it was your first time facing her. The huge eye is also something that you don't get to see very often. Most mage and caster types will also usually keep the maximum distance for safety, which doesn't work here because you need to stay almost directly on top of her to avoid the damage. You want to stay close. It's rather unusual, even for high level bosses.
Lets face the fact, most people can't work together or just choose to be a pain.
There are several monsters in PotD who use the giant "don't look" eye... none of these mechanics are new or difficult or tricky.... as for casters not dodging the big aoe SPRINT... again i say sealing PotD away behind having to complete tam tara hm is the way they should have done it (for both story consistency and so newbies don't get blindsided by things they've never seen before)

Yes. Bosses AoEs usually cover a wide area around them. It is rare for a boss that hits everything but the tiny area on top of them (this is the case for the Palace of the Dead 50 boss). This is what leads to the instant wipe for a lot of new players because it is something that occurs with very few bosses. Because of this, I would say that this boss is even harder than the Palace of the Dead 100 boss because something like that will catch new players by surprise and forcing them to wipe at least once. And of course, Palace of the Dead doesn't give you a retry like the others. It just boots you out.

If players find it too hard and want it nerfed, oh they are soo not prepared for the level say 170 and 180 boss. lol
So, I finally started doing PotD and I gotta say this boss is frustrating. I have yet to clear it and makes me not wanna keep doing it since you get nothing if you fail. This boss is SO easy. She has what, three moves to look out for? (2 aoe and 1 eye?) yet people die constantly to very simple things. I'm not sure if the palace just brings out the bads or what but it's annoying.
The important thing about this boss that no one ever thought to tell me, that I had to find out on my own is... To evade the telegraphs you have to stand near the boss. It is often too late and too far to avoid the one you have to run away from her for if you are not in melee range. I knew how to avoid telegraphs and got the point when I was told the first time. But this nuance escaped me for a few tries.
Thats understandable but when the three people in the group are rushing through and doing the bare minimum to get the gates open, I assume they have done it a million times. I guess I should stop assuming that and tell people the mechanics before the fight, unless they rush, as usual, into it before I can.The important thing about this boss that no one ever thought to tell me, that I had to find out on my own is...
