anytime anyone sits and crafts for hours people will call them a bot. i craft for hours at a time in the same spot and don't speak in say most of the time myself. i do that because i play with a controller and am chatting in voice chat. if i have nothing to say when someone speaks to me i don't waste the time to grab my keyboard. just because someone doesn't speak to you does not make them a bot.

i've watched many people that have been accused of botting and can tell you most are not. a bot will do the same thing regardless of the situation. if you see different times between the actions or random abilities they are surely not botting. even if they don't that's still no proof that they are.

you can tell whos botting or not. its not that hard to tell, Im talking about the guys that you see in the same spot for 10+ hours. I seen a guy once for like 16 hrs in the same spot fishing...kinda obvious lol. But whatever floats ure boat. Me myself, I dont even find that fun, I actually enjoy earning what I have, Makes you value your character more, I just started this game actually but Im gonna enjoy getting all my stats to lvl 50, and the hardwork and effort is what makes you value your character the most. Nobody is suggesting that EVERYONE who isn't moving or talking is a bot.
When it's the majority of people in the same linkshell though, it's kind of obvious they are passing around a bot to each other.

Bots give certain ... tells, or signs if you will.

I'd almost be willing to say most of the level 50 crafters probably botted, or at least the people who were 50 before March.

Look, I get it, crafting is boring, and doubly so for people who don't find it enjoyable at all, but just because it's inconceivable for you to see yourself crafting, don't just go and label everyone else who did craft botters.

Ive been seeing alot of this latley.. How do you guys feel about it...is it the grind thats causing people to do this? I think that it ruins the game in my opionion, but belive it or not ALOT of people are doing it, there are tons of free botting prgams for this game, kind of sad

If people don't want to feel a sense of accomplishment in what they do .. their loss I guess. I hope SE gets around to banning botters sooner or later. ^^

I've seen a guy botting in the same spot for five days before. And who knows how long he was there before I first got there and when he left after my last visit to that spot. He could be still there for all I know. Just endlessly creating lighting and wind shards.
