First off, you're a mage so you should understand the term "MP management" and use that understanding to rationalize why a healer may not raise you in combat
Secondly, as others have mentioned raising outside of combat, there's almost never a good enough reason to apply the weakness debuff just so a dps can 'stay with the group'
Thirdly, your comment on "when healers want to be a tank" is laughable. You're telling me you've actually run into healers that purposely rip hate off a tank? You should probably consider how the heck the tank lost hate to begin with before getting annoyed at a healer for "wanting to tank" lol

The fact you claim you've played MMOs for 30+ years yet have these kind of complaints baffles me. Don't take one bad healer you ran into and lump them into the majority.
