I hope they add something more furry in general but I'm not getting my hopes up. Who knows with SE, though.

Furry doesn't sell copies and accounts. It's a very niche taste, even more so in Japan. Final Fantasy XIV is a mature MMORPG, so they'll go with what sells. And that's Viera.
