That's funny but terribly out of character. The same thing would happen if they were all raider healers, they would all put up regen and medica II and then fail the duty when they never switch out of CS.

Raid healers know when they can DPS and when they need to take off CS to heal...that's why you see all those savage clear videos on youtube with healers who DPS and still heal to keep their team alive and complete the duty, but you'll likely ignore any factual evidence like youtube videos of tons of healers clearing savage while DPSing as well as healing lol

The game is already a one button mash where majority of the time no one does their job in dungeon and do the most minimal causing wipes so forth.

I personally hate sch's and smn's reason being THEY DONT DO THEIR JOBS. As a tank and DPS I hate seeing Sch's not heal me because they let the fairy only heal me and i call them out n what response to they give they either drop or report me something btw that SE needs to fix cause the whole system on reporting players is disgustingly retarded when the GM's ban and suspend people cause they are to damn sensetive.

If i'm tanking or playing a dps that has no healing ability i expect to be healed with tank at half health with dps at a quarter by a sch or any healer for that matter.
When i play dps i expect to be healed after the tank not see the damn healer dpsing that is not their damn job (not to say they should not have dps moves)

I seldom jump on MY SMN and do better than ones who play the game exclusively as SMN and i don't even know the damn rotation maybe its because i don't stand there doing nothing letting my egi do everything, who knows.

If you played the game since launch you have no excuse to perform poorly in any raid or dungeon especially if you have multiple jobs lvl'd
If you dont want to heal as sch and have your fairy do everything then dont waste peoples time and just play smn.

But... a sch can heal AND dps, and you don't even have to die for it. Its not about not wanting to heal, its having something to do when there is no healing needed.

Also, even with this expansion healers are being given better damage in in some cases dps tools, content is made to not need them to dps, but it isn't made so they cant, in fact they are often given new tools to further it.

I'm not trolling these threads. The raiders are. They're the ones espousing "I kick healers who don't DPS" arguments. Quite honestly I'm not sure why all the trolls keep following me around and bring quotes from other threads here.

Yup, if the healer is keeping you alive then they are doing their job. That is factual game design even if you do not like it. As I have stated to everyone, try to get employed at SE and change FF14 for healers to dps as mandatory. Til then....nothing more needs to be said.

I want to state this to everyone. I did make this post to upset, disrespect or negate anyones views or opinions. But I have never seen so many players up front disrespect Yoshi P this way in the 3 years of playing this game on this account or my 1st account based solely on his statement on their intended design. I can understand disagreeing with him....but to insult him the way others have is pretty sad that it has come to that. I respect that you do not agree with this game design or statement as if anyone knows my own past on the forums I have had my own issues with SE.....but I humbly ask everyone to show respect to all others and to remind ourselves that we may have differing opinions.....but we are all here for fun.
