It's funny how this kind of attitude perfectly matches the arguments expressed during the thread.
Most definitely a "difference of playstyle" here.

Are you replying to someone else? I'm talking about tuning affecting community expectations, not kicking people.Repeat with me: "I am not the community. I don't represent the community. I don't speak for the communuty."
Now do it a thousand times.
That being said, gonna take note of those spamming threats of kicks due to "difference of playstyle" and make sure to vote kick them on sight if I ever come across them. My playstyle is definitely different from "jerk."
Only one desire... to be able to take someone down as WHM in PVP sometimes. =p
I am aware I am being childish, but when I make a factual statement and someone responds with a meme instead of an argument or statement to continue the discussion in response, I think gloating a little is okay.
My shitty attitude doesn't make me any less right, Can still be an asshole but be correct.
I hope you atleast found it humorous
No, The first two lines are responding to you, since you seem to think you know what the "community" thinks and feels.
The rest is a general statement on the frankly disgusting content of this thread, hence "that being said..." Should have made a separate post, but this forum gets weird when you post too much in the same thread.
The problem is that you don't seem to be aware that the childish/shitty attitude isn't really the gloating, but the approach you and others describe and support in what is ultimately a game.I am aware I am being childish, but when I make a factual statement and someone responds with a meme instead of an argument or statement to continue the discussion in response, I think gloating a little is okay.
My shitty attitude doesn't make me any less right, Can still be an asshole but be correct.

It's simple. You either have to accept and tolerate that there is this one rule, that falls under the gray line of different play style, and can be enforced at any given time without any punishment or consequences. Or you have to start doing something about that.
In other words, if someone wants to kick the healer for not dps'ing, dismiss that healer, but make sure you're dismissing that dps as well if he/she isn't even close to the damage output they should be doing.
There should be no excuses anymore regardless what job/role someone is playing. Everybody entering the DF/RF/PF should be treated the same. Maybe after we did a 3 month witch hunt, punishing every dps that doesn't perform in DF, the same as they would in a static, we can return to being civil.
It's sad you don't value your own time or the time of others.Side note: You say you don't complain, yet you stated you will say "Yo, you're healing us amazingly well, so could you deal damage?" and if they don't comply you will vote kick them. If the run was going fine, you were getting heals and the damage was enough for the content, why are you votekicking them? Is the few seconds saved per fight that valuable to you?
Setting that aside, yeah, I'll take a healer that dps's and we wipe a time or 2 over one that heals flawlessly with 0 dps basically every time. I do not value your capability to fill a bar every 15 seconds particularly highly. If for no other reason than at least the healer who does damage is actually putting forth an effort which is something I do value.
