If it comes to that, PotD earns you Lore/Scrip at Lv60, if they boosted their way to 60 in there, they have the option of staying in there until the get a decent amount of LV60 gear.
Got zurv for my trial roulette, had a new tank who wanted to MT, that's fine, other tank explained what to do, basically tank north. On the first phase where zurv is still on the platform the MT failed to dodge the last platform collapse and fell to his death, a few second later in chat he said "so I tank it like that?!" To which a few people responded in chat with things along the line of 'you nailed it bro', I personally responded with 'perfect'All and all a jokey run and on the second run the MT didn't fall to his death god bless

I was running leveling roulette and got thrown into Cutters Cry with some new kids. Everything went fine, I was the healer so I knew what to do for mechanics. Then we got to the final boss fight , the Chimera, and I said "Close in on blue, spread far for purple" which is very very wrong. I mixed up the colors, and needless to say it was tough, lots of debuffs, lots of damage, but persevered and we beat him eventually. Got no comms tho :P
Had an unusual experience. Queued up for expert as white mage, queue took 17 minutes. Finally join in and it's baelsar's wall, tank takes off without a word to start the pull. Can't blame him, not everyone wants to be chatty. Thing is, he knows his stuff, I can tell. He catches all the aggro correctly, and he even pulls the entire room, clumping them up correctly. Anyone familiar with that pull knows that pulling the entire leg means you're putting a lot of faith in your healer, and I was glad not to disappoint. Everything is cleaned up correctly and I even manage to get a lot of holy casts in with the high damage of that pull.
Get to the first boss, it goes down easy. Get to the second boss, nobody dies to the extreme caution wombo. We get to the final boss in under 13 minutes, and the boss promptly dies before he even starts casting his second lionshead.
And then everyone leaves. Without a word. It was the strangest thing.
Sophia Normal- paladin offtank didn't know what sword/ shield oath was tried to explain it but he refused to turn either on for the whole fight. The War ended up being our mt.
I was being slightly facetious, referring to Levelling roulette, and pointing out that Lore doesn't come exclusively from level 60 dungeons. When I reached Idyllshire on my first job, I was already lvl. 60 and had enough Esoterics from roulettes to buy myself a full set of ilvl 200 gear, so I didn't end up undergeared for my first run of ARF or Thordan.
Levelling, level 50, and Trials roulette. All pre-60 content that allows you to earn Lore at level 60. There is no excuse for someone not being able to gear up for level 60 dungeons. There is even less of an excuse for someone who enters Expert Roulette with anything less than ilvl 230 in any slot.
I tend to be kind of an elitist McGee, but does that REALLY matter? I don't think a 220 ring is going to hinder an expert roulette in any way, shape or form.
It probably doesn't, but considering that a 230 accessory costs 375 Lore, which is maybe 2 hours of gameplay (three roulettes, floor 1-30 in PotD), it does kind of indicate a certain amount of "the heck with it, someone will have good enough gear to get us by" thinking.
It's a small thing, but the folks doing expert roulette are probably the least sympathetic audience for folks who can't bother to grind an extra 90 minutes on easy content.
I've never queued a 60 dungeon other than ARF specifically because I am not 230+ in every slot yet. I can wait for the two more nights (max) it will take, and the grind isn't that tough.
