To all the folks saying Viera are just bunny flavored Miq'ote, Rogs are just tall humans with odd skintones and wierd noses right?

The Viera we hope to see are not just bunny ears on a Miq'ote body, not rabbit tails vs kitty ones. We are hoping for Viera with a different body structure and completely different facial structure from Miq'ote. The Viera face presented early in this thread is as different from a Miq'ote as a Rog from a Hyur.

That said it'is understandable people want to blend them, another reason we don't is lore. A lot of folks want to rp them and would rather they have their own race lore than Miq'ote. Not my personal cup of tea but I can support them for it.

Pls Yoshida for the Love of God dont do this, make a new Race or use some that are in the game (Garleans,Padjal etc.)

But pls dont just put a Race in the game just because it was in another Final Fantasy Game that would be so boring, i mean i understand all that Fanboyism that goes on here about Final Fantasy but until now this game atleast trys to be its own game except for colab events and costumes which is totally ok.

But a entire Race really is a bit much in my oppinion, but jeah im not that of a Final Fantasy fan i just love this game for what it is not for where it came from.

Padjal must never be playable. Bad enough all the crazy stuff Lalafell get into when people RP them as, 'Children.' Padjal are -actually- kept child-like in physical maturity for hundreds of years. The last thing we need is playable Padjal. As for Garleans, I'm not opposed to the idea per say, but those who say Viera would just be Miqo'te with Bunny Ears and Tails instead of Cat Ears and Tails would probably have a field day with Garleans who would just be Hyur with a third eye on their foreheads.

padjal will never happend, too few people in the race left...
for garlean not possible too since they can't use magic, it kill them to try... foxclon have talk about it while the fanfest... they can't use the magic because of biology trouble that why they use magitek

Garleans cannot be playable as they are unable to use magic and cannot Teleport.
The lore book goes into some detail regarding Padjal that perfectly explains why they'll never ever be playable

i will not bet is not possible for the 5.0, return to ivalice can maybe have a link with dalmasca, the place in orthard conquer by the empire a long time ago... for the one don't knowing it, dalmasca is too the name of a place in ivalice. since we go to orthard, maybe we will discover that this place (that was wiped in FF12 by an ultima bomb) was maybe transfer to hyadelin and will explain why return to ivalice name for the 24 raid. introducing maybe race of ivalice... then maybe viera.

I don't recall Dalmasca being wiped out by an 'Ultima bomb' in FFXII.
