    I made my retainers a botanist and Miner, so I can make them gather stuff so I don't have to,I do have a question, if your retainer is not a DoL land and a battle class, do get still gather from mobs?

    Yes. Your "gather specific mats" ventures will be based on things that drop from mobs though, such as Gigantoad Skins. Source: 1 Paladin (battle), 1 Botanist, 1 Fisher, and 1 Miner retainer.

    As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

    Yes. They gather mob items like skins. I have two gathers and one class.
