Frankly I don't expect the city itself to be a major city hub. We are getting that with Kugane. Doma, even if the Garleans are kicked out, is going to take a long time to rebuild.


Frankly I don't expect the city itself to be a major city hub. We are getting that with Kugane. Doma, even if the Garleans are kicked out, is going to take a long time to rebuild.
It's also shown to be flooded in the Revolutions trailer - and flood damage is pretty extreme, typically. Furthermore it's the Warrior of Light and his allies who appear to be assaulting the massive gates leading into Doma which may actually be what causes the flood to begin with. I kind of hope that is the case, because if the Eorzean Alliance, Scions and Warrior of Light start resorting to such extremes in the name of 'freedom' then they won't have much room to complain about the Garleans retaliating in turn.
