About new servers and ping issues

So its been a descent amount of time and the tread asking for info has several pages , but we still didnt got an answer would be nice if anyone could give us something , will we get a us east server , south american?
We all know we arent getting it tomorrow , but with stormblood coming if we dont have nothing to look foward there is no point in tryng to play this game , and i believe im not alone in this , so please try to give us an answer before stormblood at least , i believe if we at least know that in 2-3 months we are getting a server most people woudnt mind playng..

Right now, signs point to no. No US East servers and no South America servers. The servers that were once housed in Montreal are now somewhere on the US west coast. Why they did this, we don't have any concrete evidence. Most have said that it's because the parent company of the server-keepers have worked with Square Enix before (NTT) and likely had a great deal going.

I was one of the lucky ones because my ping went from 95 (this is the around the ping that most of my east coast friends have) to 25. Yes, I'm US west coast.

We do not know (nor do I feel it is likely) that they will house more servers in the near future.

There's already a thread about it by SE, so they're obviously aware many people are experiencing high ping and are looking into it. Creating a new thread does nothing.

Also, I highly doubt their resolve will be a new server. Don't get your hopes up.

So i dont know what kinda of education you people have but , creating a tread do something , if someone want an answer or to fight for something they need to voice it over , im happy for the west coast people who got a better latency but i see no reason to come here and dont add anything just to throw some salt , if it isnt your fight or something you want dont waste you time on it just look into whatever you have interest and let us try to get at least an asnwer.
Ps:Its been two weeks and we got no answer or anything like that we do need to create threads and ask for one
